Anyone know a good mechanic in perth around the bayswater area, i need the rear main seal replaced. Whats an average price for this job, one place i got quotted a grand which i thought was a bit high.

read up on it and give it a go yourself....i dont like getting mechs to do stuff if i can do it....rip off

Yeah i would rather do it myself but trying to drop the gearbox with the car on ramps is a pain in the a**, if only i had a hoist lol.
