You'd have to get either a new lid with the 4 bolt flange for the MAF or an inline MAF sensor.
Would work well though, my mate is using the same set-up with the 4-bolt flange lid on his AU 220.

i know its not a V8, but i had one on my ED 6Cyl and it did make a noticeable improvement and quite a nice induction sound
