Hi guys just wondering if someone could tell what would be the biggest cam I could use on a set of ported gt40p heads?
Im gona swap the valves and springs at the same time but just curious how big I can go.

Depends on your rocker ratio. 1.6 (standard), 1.7 or 1.72?
Also have the heads ever been off the engine and milled or decked?

Ill be getting heads machined a bit more than usual to take a bit more off. Ill be using 1.7 ratio rockers to get more lift too. Im told the au2 cam is more aggressive than the au3 too. But not sure if I can go bigger with cam though

The factory camshafts are nothing special and not worth changing between series. For the record the 'biggest' factory cam was in the T1 TS50... Or the 200kw cam.

If you are going to change cams put in something worthwhile such as a Comp XE270
