That's a 460 right? They go for roughly those dollars as runners and about half that as rebuilders.

Thats not what I found important. All I could think of was BIG V8 in my engine bay!

Well if you want a donk like that vic just have a flick through just parts. Plenty of running 460's and C6's for under 2 grand. The 429's seem to fetch a bit more though. Don't know why cosidering they are like 302's and 351 clevo's, same block but different stroke.

Meh. English did it first with the TR8. Nowdays you can put a 6.0L V8 into an old Triumph TR7/8.

earlier still was the sunbeam alpine, which when fitted with the 260 and later 289 windsors became the sunbeam tiger..... f**k good fun

tho that said, carrol shelby beat the brits when he chucked a windsor in the AC Ace
