for when i put my belt back on this is my first time doing this sort of stuff and my first v8 its a 1992 nc fairlane 302 windsor i believe heres some pics of the tensioner.. and also does anyone know if this is suppose to go to anything its by the washer bottle its next to the green hose it looks like its suppose to plug into something maybe ? take a look at the pics please..

Hose should connect to a plastic black line that runs along the top of the firewall.

Tensioner: Get out a 1/4 drive socket set and stick an extension bar in there. Pull/push the socket handle to release the belt. Kind of hard to explain, but you will see what I mean. It's as if you are undoing a bolt but instead of a socket on the end, it's a tensioner that moves to the left.

ok cheers mate i have looked all over for where that hose connects to and cant see anything do you know what its for
