hey guys.i hav a 1967 xr panel van 351 toplaoder nine Inch an I get axle hop everytime I clutch it how do I stop this its not standard either
Any ideas would b much appricated

Some of the XB/XC era LTD's came with a factory tramp rod (whatever they call it I don't know) that sits on top of the diff under it's u-bolts the bolts through the chassis rail, Some of my mates coupes had them also, but as with my ZD you'd need the longer ones like the LTD's had, I've had a set ready to fit for years, it's on my list of things to do (one day)

I used the longer LTD ones on my XE ute...stopped the axle hop dead! I didn't need longer U-bolts but I suppose some cars might.
I also made adjustable front(chassis) mounts to allow different positioning too.
