im not so one eyed as to say all falcons are perfect. Beautifully built? Ok, over exageration. You can sit down, work out all the facts and figures, it may be the best finanical option for power. I know its just a car at the end of the day, yadda yadda, but it seems too much effort, and at the end of the day? Youre left with a mongrel heap of **** that moves fast. It wont be worth anything as a whole.↲oh, by the way, that makes 5 posts for those pathetic enough to be keeping count

Mate when your cruising along and people can hear the note of the v8 I don't think any one really gives a flying f*ck whether it's a Holden motor or a ford motor all they can see is it's a worked falcon and that's all that matters. This bloke probably wants it just to run it down the strip and most blokes that build cars for quarter mile don't seem to open there bonnet very often, hell hang a blower outer the bonnet if he likes why not?!? It's his car he can do what he likes and if some one doesn't like it then piss off and that's it lol

LS with a mafless tune is a very viable and cost effective combo in a light E series. As a drag car- dont think you could get a better combo for the cash. i reacon you would be looking at mid to low 12's. Try getting those times out of any ford motor for the same outlay.

Turbo Barra 6 will go mid to low 12's for similar coin I beleve, however, the LS1 is a good motor, and I pretty much agree with you.

I have to say that it's an absolute tavesty to see the Chev in a Falcon but the important thing is, the Bow Tie is still Behind the Blue oval lol............... I can personally vouch for these motors, I've got a VP Calias with an LS3 only have a OTRCAI, Mafless tune, Stainless exhaust and some basic computer mods and is throwing some good numbers on the Dyno (best of 337RWKW) My recently calibrated seat of the pants dyno tells me it's all well and truly there; the Calais is within a 100kg of my EB Fairmont, which was going to get a BA DOHC conversion but trying to find an option as unique as my Calais (any ideas would be much appreciated)

If the boy want's an LSx power Falc let him do it, look at what's left of our V8 Supercars, we now have some of the highest calibre offerings out of Europe and Japan, with more to follow for sure; we should all be beyond this Ford Vs Holden rivalry by now, we live in a very different world
