hey guys. got my new MAP sensor and oxys from ebay today.

was havin a quik poke around under my bonnet and i cant for the life of me spot where the MAP sensor goes.. :? :?

so i ask for some explanation and possibly even better a pic :)

coz im a bit confuzzled at the moment :oops:

cheers mate had a look around just to make it clear. cyl1 is the driver side front?

didnt really see anythin that looks like the MAP sensor i have?.. thats why a pic would do a world of good.. lol :)

What you should have is a TMAP sensor. So it's temp and map as one unit. I've got a BF workshop manual in pdf form but it's too big to post on the net. Just follow your harness on the engine and you'll find it in that area.

yea i had a look around but the little bugger is a hard one to find. im sure when i find it im gonna feel like a tool for not finding it. haha.

are you able to stick just this specific page or two up from the guidebook you have?

Well it seems the manual is wrong and right depending where you look again(that's another story).
It appears it's near Cyl 8 not cyl 1.

hmm not overly clear tho.. is ther any more than that half a page.
do ihave to take the fuel rail off?

They say you have to take the t-body off and if it's near #8 then you'll be able to find it. Why do you want to change it anyway?

well im gonna be bookin my car in for a dyno tune in a week or two and i want everythin to be at full operation. so i dont have to get it re-tuned if its on its way out.

well. TB was off and it was no were to be seen. unless mine looks diffrent to everybody elsees.
i can find em on the boss motor in half a second..

Did you look on the side of the plenum near runner #8?

finally found it. yea its right at the bottom of the inlet plenum. gotta take the TB back off to change it.
but yay found the lil fuker.
