Hey dudes,

Since getting the V8 into my EF wagon I've been getting a pretty mean petrol smell in the cabin.
I didn't have the charcoal canister hooked up at 1st but now it is... I think.
Anyone got a diagram of where all the hoses that run to & from it go?
I can't find a pic anywhere.
Also, it seems that the breather hose for the fuel tank was just poked into the chassis rail!!! I'm not sure where it ran as I had the I6 running straight LPG since I got it, any help as to where the breather hooks up please?? I've had a real good look under there and can't see a thing

Thanks

Ok, so I just blocked the end of the breather hose from the fuel tank and that helped but it took forever to fill my tank!! It just caused the petrol nozzle to just 'click' off every 2 seconds, unless I kept the flow rate real slow!

Any help on the cannister Please????

Where does the fuel sized hose go that runs from the canister to the rear of the car??

my missus car is a fairmont 5L ef wagz, and it started really getting fumes through it, it turned out to be a small crack in the tank/spare wheel cavity, i replaced it with a tank out of a ed 6 cylinder wagon tank (there the same)

The vapour line from the tank goes to the charcoal canister. The canister purge line tees into this and goes to the purge solenoid and then to the intake manifold.

Thanks fellas.
Its all fixed now. I decided to change out the Lpg and half petrol tank for a full wagon tank.
Re-ran all the hoses and sorted it.
Can't wait to get it back on LPG full time tho, filled up yesterday and was nearly $90!!!

I love Lpg......
