Which is the easy way to get more power out of an xr8 ba? i'v done big mouth cold air and a flash tuner. I got the St.Arnaud drags comming up on the 13th sept and everyone is bugging me to enter. But i wont more power. I was thinking spark plugs and leads and injectors but my account is getting low already. My other half is trying to stop me from moding but it's my hob.
What is easy and sort of cheap way to get it?

Put a 4.10 diff gear set in it and a more stall converter if you have the time(which you evidently dont.)The flash tune and an exhaust will complement it perfectly. Dont worry about it mate put it in and give it s**t. Thats what drag strips are for. Fun. :D

What would be the best size high flow injectors to run in the boss 260 and spark plugs and leads?

No leads on the mod V8. Coil on plug mate. Injectors aren't needed unless you are going forced induction.

What transmission are you using? Do you have the standard diff gears? What ET are you looking at?

It's 5 speed man, stan diff. Was looking at 85 mm throttle body and power intake tube $1000. But cut my self short.

I would go diff gears before anything else, 3.7s or 3.9s with the 5 speed.

After airbox and filter, nothing is cheap on the BOSS.

As mentioned,

- diff ratio change. shorter ratio will give quicker acceleration, this isn't cheap, unless you can do the labour yourself. Gotta drop the whole back of the car off to get to the diff = lots of labour charge.
- extractors/cats/exhaust (and a retune)

I highly recommend the diff ratio change, really livens up the BOSS. Not good for your tyre and fuel bills however, but you don't buy a RWD V8 for cheap tyres and fuel economy.

I'V been looking at a set of extractora i know that they come out with them stock, the hole system i'm looking at is de fillipo. I found a set new that a person is selling for $450. I can buy them but the money i have in the bank is already going into the car wich gets done next week. This allways happens.

$450 for a whole Di Fillipo system is a steal! They are normally around $2k fitted for the single 3"
