Hi guys I have been told these where a common prob when you had to lift throttle pedal up to lower the rev.Does that mean I am in the hunt for a new throttle cable.Ieven removed the kick down rod in case it was that.

Spray some WD40 down the cable first. If it is the cable thats stuffed it could make it slightly better.
Check that your throttle return spring hasnt lost tension. Thats pretty common as well.
