Hey guys

Been reading up on the Thermo Fan Conversion as I am sick of the car sounding like Jet taking off. It used to be quiet until earlier in the year when the Clutch Fan was replaced.

Anyway I stripped out my mates EL 6 Cylinder as he was sending it to the Wreckers and I took the Thermos out. However I read that the EL had only one plug for the Thermos, this set has 2 Plugs one with 2 wires and one with 3, can they be used for the conversion?

Is it a worth while upgrade?, will it see any improvement in Economy or Power? And how do I wire them up, or can't I use these Particular Thermo Fans on it?

Any help and Advice will be appreciated.

You don't notice much of a difference but it does eliminate that Jet noise when taking off.
