yep just brought anther one to take the telly up to 5
its not a 6 this time my first one with out a ford 6.
well i put the deposit down today pickup next weekend
payed 1800 for it no reg no rwc
was umming and arring it went to took a look at about 6 other's in the 4000-6000 price range and they where in crap condition compared to this so it made it an easy decision (plus i had me best mate a holden nut pick crap of it to try and find problems and my father as well and they both said its probly the best you will get under 5)
its a 94 fairlane giah v8 5L windsor drives nice has climate control i havent had a car in which the aircon works so iam looking forward to summer :) it also has abs power steer cent locking alarm immobliser power windows and mirrors and a cd stacker with ford premium sound of the time which ant half bad.
my first car ive owned thats from the 90's and about the 4th ive driven thats not from 1980's or earlier lol
needs a little work but nothing dramatic some window regs and get the l/h window working mabey fix up the drivers seat backs a little lose and change the r/h rear taillight to get a road worthy cert.
then ill fix up the niggly stuff like the bumber and r/h 1/4 panel which has some light damage and give it a coat of clear as the previous owner dident wash off some bird crap and its eaten through the clear or ill just respray it
but i finaly have a car thats comfy to drive on long trips :D

Welcome to the luxo barge club mate.

I picked mine up off ebay in MINT condition. Catch was i had to catch the train with the missus to bairnsdale. It came with RWC, 1st owner papers, books and EVERYTHING... i mean this guy even had his first service invoices and dealership receipts. Drove it home like it was new. $3500 later and I'm still happy.

A little advice... get as much practice parking coz its a pretty big a** car.
