my 5L nc fairlane wont start.. when i turn the key to ign the dash lights come on then turn to start and all light go out and theres 3 ticking sound coming from the dash. also when i put the blinkers on all dash lights flash and fuel pump comes on with the blinkers, sumtimes the moter turns over but doesnt fire.. what the hell is wrong with it????????

Check the negative cable from battery to chassis and from engine to same. Give the small spade connector wire right at the starter motor a wiggle. The main positive cable from the back of the alternator is prone to burning out which makes things go haywire.
