The OLD girl won't start or run on its on but will start on aerostart. Did some tests and found fuel pump not working so replaced with brand new one but no joy. Old Mechanic suggested to try all keys cause the chip in it isn't turning the mobiliser on? to turn the fuel pump on. He suggested to bypass the mobiliser/smartlock replacing it with some type of bypass system. Any ideas?

There is no chip in the key. Check that there is fuel pressure at the rail first.

Thanks for your replies about the OLD girl 1992 V8 Fairlane. Wired a lead and battery directly up to the fuel pump. Cranked her up and presto she runs like a rocket now! Best she's sounded for years!! Auto lecky from Townsville suggested tracking back from the fuel pump fusible link at the battery. Will keep you posted. Newmo

Fuel pump Relay will be my guess. I'd say it has a bad earth.
