Hi,

Where is the best/cheapest place in Melbourne to buy parts for my 5.0 motor?

I need a...

Gasket set top end
Gasket set water pump timing cover assembly
Good Double row Timing Chain set

Also where can I get my heads skimmed?

What is the difference between the early 289/302 timing chains and the injected 5.0 litre motors??

Thanks in advance

The difference is the 5.0's have a step in the block casting that would foul the rivits if an early 289/302 timing set was used. I use JP steel timing sets in all the 5.0's I build, good quality & reasonably priced

More people paid for a ride in a VT commodore then an AU Falcon so the VT is superior.
Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!
