Apparently its only affecting Syd/Melb Shell, however 98ron is drying up at all servo's due to the extra demand.

Looks like the waggin is taking a holiday

Ive been told it should be back in stock by the 27th Nov.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Shell is currently unable to supply Shell Optimax to all sites in NSW, ACT and Vic. We aim to be back in stock from the 19th of November in Victoria and 22nd of November in NSW and ACT.

PML!
I ran 91ron in the fbt once and it ran like s**t, even stalled once! It couldnt idle, it really just was f**k up on it to be honest.
NOW i know why the fuel door says "USE PREIMUM UNLEADED ONLY"
Runs like a dream on pulp, so i guess they tuned it to run on the stuff?

Yeah when mine was stock and i ran it on 91 it sounded like a chain was caught up in the serpentine belt it pinged that bad. Now 91RON simply not an option.

I imagine it just runs a fair bit more base timing than a stocker. Not sure - the FBT isnt exactly covered in the same workshop manual as a Futura, lol. Could always retard dizzy if 98RON disappeared from the face of the planet. Not sure bout you, but i didnt fork out mucho $$$ to run a car at 80% of what its capable of!!! lol
