Can anyone tell me why my oil pressure guage goes if the scale
when the motor is running? The oil level is good and not over filled.

Oil pressure sender has failed.
You can get a replacement here... {DESCRIPTION} Edit: Check that the wire hasn't just come off the sender, this will also cause it to go off the scale.
