Just changed my oil from Penrite 20/60 mineral to Valvoline 15/40 synthetic blend only.
Problem is my Windsor doesn't prime up the oil pressure by just winding the key on the 15/40 like it did on the 20/60 hot or cold.
I thought the lighter the oil the quicker the flow.
any ideas?

also the quicker to drain as well, The heavier oil hung around longer creating higher oil pressure. The thicker to oil the longer it hangs around the higher the oil pressure..

How many km does your motor have on it?
20/60 is a fairly thick oil.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

Do the simple(cheaper)things first and replace the sender. Ford spare parts are sometimes a joke both in price and quality hence why I wasn't paying $180 for a sender from ford toowoomba. $39 from repco saw my pressure go from the basement to 3/4 in nothing flat.

Hope you sort your issues out but the pressure you put up tells me all is pretty ok.
