Well from February up until now, this engine was pulled out of my FAIRLANE, box taken off as it was shagged (solinoids or rear seal?? it only had 1st & 3rd gear), I purchased the Explorer uppper/lower manifold, my mate has helped from getting the engine out of the car all the way to cleaning it up & preparing the engine for the fitting of the upper/lower Explorer manifold.

So far I have spent about $1k on the project as I have had to buy replacement parts & an engine stand which included the purchase of the manifold of $350.

Question, can I still use the original throttle body and where do I get the throttle body gaskets?

You can just buy gasket paper to make your own.
Or just use cardboard from a cereal box.
