Hi all im new to posting in this forum but been reading it for a few weeks and is very good reading. I have a chace to buy a white late december 2001 au xr8 s3 5 speed man with the hand built 220kw tickford motor the ks are 135,000 but its an ex police car from victoria its very clean and drives very well what would be a good price to pay for a car like this. The car is in the family and i have just been asked to make and offer any feed back or anything to look out for with an ex police car would be good thanks.

Being a Series 3 manual with fairly low K's depending on the overall condition between 8 and 11k would be in the money I reckon.

The only think that I can think of it just to be aware that it is an Ex police car.
What ever K, were on it when Vicpol sold it would have been very hard K's Remember the two fastest car in the world are work cars and hire cars  Having said that if it is in the family they they probably wont sell you a poo barge
