g'day all,
got a little problem with my hot 302 Windsor XF falcon ute (2500ks on engine).
it always empty's half of my (3 core) radiator coolant out of my radiator & into my purge canister. it's always done it, even before i rebuilt the engine. I've put a Hi-flo water pump & thermostat in it with no difference made.
its worse when i turn it off at operating temp' of around 160-170f, she will just purge out.
my C10 has its own cooler,
engine doesn't run hot when driving,
O' my heaters are not connected up neither, could that be the problem?the heater core took a dump when i first bought the car!

Cheers,
Bruizer

Just looking at those pics I'd like to see your heater hooked up and your header tank mounted higher up to allow any air in the system to escape. In fact I'd use an XG 4.0L header tank and mount rather than that bottle you have.
If you don't hook the heater up you should just block the hole on the intake and block the hole on the pump.
