I recently bought a Au2 Xr8 ute whilst reading through the old paper work I noticed that it has been given a pursuit pack upgrade from factory what does this mean it does have a bit more grunt than the other Au2XR8 ute weve got at work.

I used to own an AUII pursuit, but unlike the newer ones it had the same engine as the XR8 sedan(200kw). It wasn't until the series 3 that they stroked them out to 250kw.
From what I could find out the differance between the normal XR8 ute and the pursuit was the factory fitted options. From memory these were:-

Leather interior.
Six stack CD.
Tie-down rails in the tray.
Body kit.
Mobile phone cradle.
Cabin tidy.
Sportsbar with modified cover.
