Hellooo. I'm putting the AU manifold (explorer) on an eb xr8 just wondering what to do with the EGR plate and valve?? Do I keep the one off the ho intake and bore it out to suit the TB size and swap it where there's no EGR On the au manifold??

I myself have completely deleted the EGR, I don't even have an EGR spacer....

Ohhhhh, how's it run without the EGR? I thought that crap works with the ecu?

Quite well, I have GT40P's and a cam aswell....

Awesome yeah that's the track I'm heading down gt40ps and cam, do ya know how much of a power gain ya got just from the explorer manifold and gt40ps?
Did u just block off the vacuum hose that came from the EGR?

I did the cam swap at the same time, but I gained heaps. I completely removed everything relating to the EGR. I removed the T Piece that the EGR vacuum line ran off and fitted a straight vacuum line.

Find an AU EGR spacer, they have no fittings for an EGR valve as they didn't use EGR.

You can do that, or my option, with a non standard intake pipe. My Throttle body is mounted directly to the upper manifold.
