Removing P/S Pulley On 95 EF XR8

 Post subject: Removing P/S Pulley On 95 EF XR8

if got a leaky return line at the p/s pump but cant access it with everything in place and to unbolt the pump the pulley has to be removed to get to the bolts behind it. so as the title suggests how can i get the pulley off???

need some sort of stupid pulley removing tool, havent seen one myself but i know ford have em. repco or the likes prob sell them but i got no idea on a price

The pulley does not need to come off to remove the pump from the engine, if I am understanding you. You should be able to use a socket through the holes in the pulley.

there are no holes :S you must be thinking of an i6 pulley. there is a hex type bit at the front but im pretty sure i read on here that it was used at the factory to turn the pump during testing or something like that.

Correct, I was thinking I6, I should have noticed the forum it was posted in.
