Can someone please explain to me the difference between resistor and non-resistor spark plugs and their applications? I'm looking to get some new plugs today or tomorrow and was wondering if this is an important factor. I looked at the Summit site and looked at suggested parts for my heads (TFS-51400004) and they have listed resistor AND non-resistor plugs.
Does it depend on your electrical system? Leads? EFI or not? By using the wrong type, how great an adverse effect can it have on performance? Cheers Chad

i looked into this as well a while ago, found this on NGK site
http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/s ... sistor.asp i don't know how accurate that is, but it made sense to me so I bought resistor type plugs
