Way too broad of a question. Need a lot more details.

Like when was the last service? Dedicated gas? Is it gas research, Impco or a custom injection setup? What ignition system is it using? Checked for vacuum leaks?

Cheers

any gas installers\mechanics around your way to have a look at it,may save time and a bundle of cash on parts not required, dedicated gas is worry as it runs well or crap,,or not at all.

it still has fuel lines from the petrol tank, is it as simple as plumbing them up and putting some fresh fuel in to make it dual fuel? or am i being naive? hahaha

If the EFI type intake system has been removed, no, can't be done so easy. Post up a pic of the engine bay?

Cheers

nah its all still there, the gas just runs straight into the throttle body by the looks of it, i can see the steel fuel lines from the tank, and the other ones from the fuel rail/ efi system, looks like all it needs is two pieces of fuel hose to join them back up, but i'm wondering if anything internal might be affected by running it on petrol now

It should be fine to run on petrol check the pump and sender unit in the tank as if there is no fuel in the tank they burn out.
you can normally access them from the left side in the boot under the carpet is a round metal plate pump hole is under that

Its still enough to get out. I got a 3kg dry powder from bunnings for $25 for my house and they had the water co2 and dry powders for the same price, the way i see it its better to have and not need than to need and not have

if at all you are unsure of the car or systems take it to a qualified person for a looking over, the other thing you would need to check is the cut offs for the gas, running petrol and gas through a motor, at the same time, is a big no no, not to mention dangerous
