Im looking at getting a new cam fitted to the Au with rpm range of 1500-4000.
Not for huge power gains but a bit more low end torque
Not wanting anything huge and lumpy and prefer to not have to change lifters, springs and heads

Will the Crane Cam 972834 be an improve over the standard cam with a retune

The car is standard except for a full 2.5inch exhaust system

That's a flat tappet cam I'm afraid mendy. That would be a backward step. I'll try to find the specs of a comp roller that I used that would achieve what you're after but a std. cam is pretty good for torque. You may find fitting an adjustable timing set and advancing the stock cam will get you what you want.

Worst case is I will leave it as is
