Id have to turn the idle right down to almost stalling though, or stick in a nice bump stick, otherwise it wont shake  I agree with you there! Can you imagine the first day you had it, you'd just sit with the car in neutral reving it and what not to watch it move. |

I had a car bought to me from Ford for a test drive with a shaker fitted . i rekon it was the biggest thrashing the thing had ever been given when i got in it . but i had to. the shaker looked tops when you fed some right foot in. |

I thought it was more that it spirals the air and makes it mix better with the fuel. I thought it was the Helix spacer. |

More will be gained out on the road on a hot day than on a Dyno.

I thought it was the Helix spacer. 2 different things the helix spacer aka hiclone is a metal insert that goes in your intake before the throttlebody causing the air to spiral and possibly creating a better fuel/air mix and possibly causing better air velocity through the intake manifold runners the phenolic spacer is most commonly seen on EFI windsors with the 2 piece inlet manifold, it sits between the upper and lower halves, insulating the upper half to a certain degree as well as making the intake runners a bit longer you can also get the phenolic spacers for throttlebodies and carburettors

yeah i would have to agree, as your bonnet would be down, under-bonnet temps get quite high, and this spacer is supposed to keep the air from getting hot.
