I know you may blow this post off but your input if any would be appreciated for my decision.

A tune is going to do more than a shaker can.

Shakers are mostly looks, the better CAI options is say a G&D or Bluepower airbox.

However the shakers look tops. I know of a supercharged GT with a shaker that isn't even hooked up.

I haven't had anything to do with either but my opinion the flash tunner will yeld the best results, the shaker will probably give you sweet FA but it looks horn, it wouldn't give the results of the original Shaker due to having to be plumbed back to the original airbox.

I wonder if anyone has modded one so it has the air filter inside and plumbs direct to the throttle body.

I agree a flash tune is the go.
As for shakers I reckon they look f**k on a BA if it's already got a bonnet buldge. I can undestand one on a 3V(and you'd be able to make it work with an aircleaner directly under it too) with a flat bonnet but on anything else it looks like a f**k block of flats!
