hey guys could i get some recommendations for the best performance spark plug for an v8 El xr8. im after high performance rather than stranded plugs, iv been looking at some Bosch super 4 plugs but i'm still not sure. part numbers would be a blessing, cheers

Nobody wants stranded plugs.

You may also want to look at autolites as well as the Bosch super 4's.

all relative to how much you want to spend. I trust you are doing plugs AND leads yeah? going off your other thread you should be doing both leads and plugs or neither. unless your leads are already quite new, but it sounds like your chasing a spark issue at the moment.

im just looking to do a full service of the car first, plugs, oils, filters

If you haven't upped your compression then standard NGK plugs are fine.
I'm not sure you'd even notice a difference if you popped in any special plugs.

Yeah bit pointless on the old Windsor. Just run NGKs and forget about them.

And if you don't like NGK, run the equivalent Bosch. You won't notice any difference on your XR8, except for less money in your back pocket. Stay away from Iridiums and Platinums, as they're a waste of money.
