i was thinkin about getting a gsr/evo III where like seriously, xorst, cooler, boosted, semi-slicks = 220kws = <12sec car...

to get the lane to them times would cost and continue to cost an arm n leg!

Yep. Personally (if I could afford it), I would keep the Falcon/Lane for an everyday driver, and get an evo for a fun & weekend car. I love the Evo's.

I can't afford a second car though, so the biek has come instead. Easy 10s. :D

Well a Stroker, is always a godd idea, its a lot more legal. Plus you are rebuilding your motor as new almost. SO you should have a reliable motor.

However, keep in mind that decent NA setups normally have high(er) compression compared to forced induction setups... So one can't just build an animal N/A and then whack a blower on.

Decompress the heads, fit a spacer.

If you can get most of the parts yourself, you can do a better job than the CAPa kits, by being able to customise it to suit. I did mine for around 7k all up. The kits are 8k or so these days with everything included so...
