looking at the motor front on its to the left of the dizzy, back up under the manifold a little. mounted into a black metal pipe... (thats coolant temp)
intake air temp is mounted in runner 5 in the lower half of the manifold.

No thats the ECT sensor for the EEC. The one for the gauge is on the passenger side of the engine in the intake near the head. Easy way to remember is the gauge sender will only use one wire as it uses the block for ground as it's less critical. The ECT and ACT sensors will have two wires because it will use the dedicated signal ground to the EEC.

i stand corrected.. sorry about that, i didnt know there was two.

so the one on the left in the heater pipe is coolant temp for the eec. the one in runner number 5 is intake air temp (for the eec)..
where exactly is the temp sender for the gauge? i dont recall ever seeing one.. picture if at all possible??

thanks in advance..
mitch
