okay. so i just bought an nf fairlane 1996 v8 with 114 thou kays on the clock. duel fuel..
it runs okay on gas, its a bit doughy but...
petrol on the other hand. quite pokey but when i accelrate normally or even hard, and i come up to a turn or a roundabout, my revs drop to just under 1 thou... and then they go up to say 1500 and then bak down to 1000 and it just keeps doin it, and at the same time my car is accelrating forward fast and slowing down and so on.... and then it will just eventually cut out..
i need answers asap. all help would be greatly appreciated, i only bought the car on satday :-(

thanks
alex

how do i go about fixing it? do i bother with it myself or take it to a mechanic?
and if i get it serviced they should pick up on it right?
