You will need a EB/ED V8 k-frame.

EB/ED 6cyl frames are different to the EB/ED V8 Frame.

The EF/EL k-frame is different again (but the same one can be used for either motor in an EF/EL)

Tried Ford? They might still have some. It won't be cheap tho.

As for the K/Sub frame - there isn't much difference from 6cyl to v8 that I can see. Sometime soon I will have a v8 one out of the Xr8, sitting beside a straight 6cyl to compare. I am hoping I can just drill the holes in the front bar to mount the bottom rad hose connector pipe & the power steer pipes. I can't see why I can't do it.

Cheers

The ED V8 K Frame has different width mounts. (longer bolts etc). It can be made to work, and then yes you can just bolt on the radiator hose stuff.

You can bolt an EF/EL K Frame in if you use EF/EL front suspension as well. Advantages? - you get the nice Hydraulic Engine mounts as well.

both are a fair bit of work.

I know where there are engine harnesses in QLD, but thats less likely to be helpfull to you at the moment.
