Does anyone know if a 302W and 351W sump are the same. Reasaon i ask is i am fixing the broken 5.0, and want to upgrade the sump. But with teh 427 progressing, i dont want to buy a 2nd sump for the 351W based engine.

Also would anyone know what the part no for a superpan for a 5.0 into EF is.
Cheers
Brett

This is an easy one, nope not even close.

And no idea on the superpan at all, if this engine is only a temp why are you worrying about a new sump.

I wasnt worrying about a new sump, but was going to purchasde one for the 427. If it also happened to fit the 5.0 then all the better, it would have gone on to that as the 5.0 is out and needs a new sump gasket.
Thanks for the prompt reply
Brett
