Hi there all, im needing advice on what plugs and leads to get for my EB 5.0. The car has done 190K and i have noticed recently it take a few seconds for the car to fire when starting. Probably 3-4 seconds of cranking before she goes.

Was thinking of doing the plugs leads coil and rotor cap/button.

Please give me some P/N's.??

Is there any benifit to fitting the MSD cap and so forth as its only a stock motor with exhaust mods......

If exhaust mods include extractors then make sure you get high-temperature leads, you'd probably already know about if you have extractors fitted.

Just dont get top gun leads...

Bosch or champion leads are pretty good for the price, NGK spark plugs too.

I'd get an MSD cap, they look good and they're not much dearer than a stock cap.

Leads i'd have to advise on a custom made set of MSD leads to suit. PM "BOTTLEDUP" for a quote on a set. They are obviously a little more expensive than other brands out there but you could forget about ever replacing them again and ever having any dramas with leads.
Plugs would just have to be a set of normal NGK's. Iridiums and platinums etc are overated and IMO not worth the rediculous cost.

Coil i'd have to say an MSD blaster direct replacement coil. For $90 odd its about the best straight bolt in coil you can get.
Just a normal Bosch rotor button will do the job.
As far as the cap goes, if you want it look pretty go the MSD cap, if your not ineterested in looks or dont like the look of the MSD cap just a Bosch replacement will do just as good of a job.

The MSD cap looks better, that is about the only benefit, unless I make a set of MSD leads in which case the MSD cap has a retaining plate to hold them down.

IMO the MSD leads are the best on the market, and I offer a lifetime warranty on them. PM me of you are interested in any MSD parts.
