An AU XR8 S3 inatke scoop, they have the tickford wings on the top.Its much bigger than the standard one.Or if you can get your hands on a EL GT intake scoop.2.5 or 3 inch sports exhaust.Run premium and advance your timing. If you have an auto transmission ute you can built a electronic shift kit which is pretty good for less than 20 dollars homemade.I made one for my NF 5L and it was a good mod.

Hmm if you really want to go cheap try a new set of leads and plugs. Try 9mm leads and just some normal NGK plugs will do fine. I took my XH V8 to the drags before & after fitting the leads and plugs and recorded a .25 second improvement, could have been more but I had a bit of wheelspin the second time.
