Dude, u not getting your kw and hp mixed up are ya???

I'm getting new intake, heads, cam, throttle body, injectors and associated bits and pieces. I'm expecting around 260rwhp, but if you can lead me in the right direction to see 230 - 250rwkw I'd appreciate it.

its alot of work.

You'd have to have GT40P heads and ported to the s**t.

Explorer intake - Ported Or.......

Ive heard the carb lower intakes are better - shorter runners... and ya chuck a throttle body ontop of it and plumb injectors in.

Not too hard? Maybe it's not too hard if you have $10 000 to spend on parts.

well it depends on whether you want reliability or not. What about boring/honing, balancing, valvetrain, bearings, bolts, head reconditioning (if you purchase second hand heads), not to mention porting if you're not using aftermarket heads, then tuning can cost a lot, cam selection, cam installation, injectors/carbs, exhaust system. You can buy a lot of that second hand, but it doesn't mean if you stick it all together in a backyard without the right tools it's going to make 300kW at the flywheel. It will inevitably result in a lot of expense to make that kind of power from a windsor, unless you have a really good workshop. I'm sure there's a lot I missed in that example too.
