so i have put an explorer manifold on the DL 5.0L and I have come across a set of 24Lbs injectors. Would it be worth putting the larger injectors on and if I did can I use the original fuel rail and do I need to upgrade the fuel pump?
Also woould it need a tune or would the the self learning still work within this range?

not really worth it on a stock engine... you would need a tune which can cost a bit.
worth holding on to if you plan on changing heads etc later on. |

what rating are the blue injectors?

not sure about the blue ones...I think the standard ones that I have on now are grey...or maybe just dirty as hell and the 24lbs ones are blue and yellow??

Injector colour is not a definitive answer to injector capacity. I have sets of blue injectors which are 17lb, 21lbs and 24lbs. The only way to be certain of real injector capacity is to cross reference the part number
