Both of those will work fine, but you will need to fab up a bracket to mount your accelerator cable. The Phenolic spacer allows you to run taller rocker covers, plus it helps with heat soak to the manifold upper, and theoretically allows a cooler charge to enter the engine.

A 75mm t-body is too big. You need to drop back to a 70 max.

Ok sweet :) the egr I notices had breathers on it what the he'll r they for should I jut bock them up ? I thought 75 mm throttle body is to small for my pretty hot 347 stroker I put it on coz I had it from my last car but ideal though 9mm would b the go to Mach the bigger maf sensor.. So I gotta make up a bracket for the acc cable because the top manifold will b to high ?

You need to make a bracket because the accelerator cable bracket that bolts onto the standard egr will not bolt straight onto the after market egr, the "breathers" have no effect on the air intake and do not need to be blocked off and can be left or cut off or as I have fit a hose that runs from one side to the other going underneath the egr just to look neater. If there is a hole that goes through the side of the egr body you will need to block that off.

Sorry to Hijack this thread, but would that spacer still allow the manifold to clear the bonnet on an E Series?

The TPS ontop of the throttle body is the highest point. I have a 1/2" phenolic spacer and it does not foul on my EF, but there is not much in it

Very unlikely. I have a 1/2 inch spacer on my NL and the tps and front upper manifold bolt touch the underbonnet insulation. AU's may even have a little less clearance, depending on wether it's a low or high series bonnet. You would struggle with a 1 inch let alone a 2.

hey guys, older thread but these are some things im looking to do to my 302, i understand the spacer is also good for making the intake runners longer giving a little more torque, with the EGR, can i just get a EGR plate to delete it, as i think its a stupid idea?
