Hi people.

I have an XF with a very good body and an EB with a 5.0l v8. I love the xfs but as we all know they lack in power. I am only planing to use the 5.0l v8 as it is a good runner that is sitting there doing nothing. Has anybody done this conversion before? I am expecting a full wiring harness transplant or even make a new loom from scratch. Does anyone know of a sump that will work? The engine will get some mild upgrades and i am planing to use the 95 le auto that is in the EB. Also a new dash from scratch. Am expecting a long build. Any advise?

(Thats my XF...)

Depends on how you go about it.

Colin0933 on xfalcon has also done one - manuals are a little easier as you dont need to do any mods to fit the gearbox in.

Can anyone sujest a good place to get an EB wiring diagram? I am attempting to get the 5.0l to run in an xf and am going to need to know what wire goes where. Also, does anyone have an oppinion on the 95le auto trans? Can they handle the upgraded power or even a full manual shift?

A good condition 95le will easily handle 200rwkw+ with a transmission cooler, and your going to need to spend heaps on the donk to get it putting out more than that n/a so she should be right.
