Im just wondering if the
MSD coil pn# 8241 or Accel super edis coil pack, will fit an au xr8.

Main reasons for wanting to upgrade ingnition is looking to add a blower in the future and I can get either brand coils cheap

Be very cautious with MSD gear now, the quality is absolute rubbish since they switched production to China. I've heard numerous cases of coils and dizzys failing straight out of the box or within very short time frames. Check out some of the horror stories on the corral mustang forums.

+1 on the quality issues. One of mine on the AU V8 failed pretty quick. Put the OEM ones back in and the car ran better than ever. Lets hope they can sort it out before the brand goes to rubbish.

Just another one. Have you guys upgraded to a 9mm or 10mm lead?
If so which have you guys got running?

I have the MSD coils and got the MSD 9mm kit. really easy to make up, and pretty well priced. I got my kit from a mob in parramatta, paid about $130 for 2 kits.

Oh yeah, you need to get 2 kits.

Do you need 2 kits for the leads?
Whats the part number for the leads kit?
