Hey guys just chasin a bit of help here, does anyone know the sparkplug spanner size for a carby model 250 x-flow ?

and also does anyone know if the leads and plugs from a efi 250 x_flow would be interchangeable ?

13/16 for the plug socket
i dont know for sure about the leads, but the dizzy is in the same spot so one would think so..

They are not interchangable. One has a male into female end, the other is the opposite. The caps are also different. Early dizzys had single cap, while the efi ones had a two piece cap (but you only replaced the top half).
As far as I know it is not possible to take the dizzy from an injected engine and put it in the non-injected engine. 8-)

ok thanks mate. well i did a compression test today and number 3 only gets a reading on the first turn and then doesnt get a reading. mechanic mate rekons could be a pushrod or valve or rocker arm, anyone else have any thoughts ?

XF EFI arnt interchange able with earlyer models however EFI leads off a XE falcon are
you can put a XE EFI dizy in an earlier model to, cant with an XF efi dizzy

burnt valve mabie
