Depends on how wide the wheels are and how low the car is MY XW GTHO is 1.5" lowered and the wheels are 15x8"wide and they sometimes hit on turning if you hit a bump! :(

I've seen a few XW/XY falcons with 17's or bigger and they look rather nice Interceptor.

personally anything over 16" or so looks out of place on the older falcons

A mate of mine put billits on his xw wagon, we steered away from 18's for the front for clearance, its got 225/45/17 fronts and 245/35/18's on the back, we tried my 235/50/16's on it first but scrubbed bad when on lock so we stuck with a bit more height , and less width , looks great.

I've seen a few older cars all riced up. Some don't look bad, some look f**k shocking. I'm thinking that an XY XW would look like s**t, i havn't seen any done yet so i think that its worth a try to be different. I have and xf and i can't fit any bigger than 17's on mine with out loosing turning circle and increasing tyre wear by a f**k.
