Can't seem to get a straight answer from searching the forums and the web so just wondering what i would need to do to fit a BF engine into an XG ute, i have the engine and the ecu for it although the engine comes from an auto and my XG is a manual, from what i know i will have to put a different sump on it and that the bell housing will need to be changed to AU? is there anything else i will need to do?

will it mount on to the same mounts or will i need to buy/make my own mounts?

also can a BF engine be supercharged? or would turbo's be better?

Hi, no need to change the sump but the sway bar needs to be spaced lower, use the XG mounts on BF block and if using the auto you can swap the extention housing to a XG or E-series so you can use a speed sensor and original trans mount,or to use the XG T5 you'll need a AU T5 bell housing,BF engine can be supercharged but turbo wise you need whole turbo engine.

What would be the optimum setup, im going to be setting it up for manual as the ute is already manual, so gearbox wise what would be my best option/setup engine to gearbox?

Also what is a good diff to get for the setup?
