the XE sedan wheel base is 2818mm and
the XE Wagon / Fairlane wheel base is 2947mm.

If you actually looked the fairlane and wagon are very close to being the same length tailshafts are same length. You can put a wagon tailshaft in a fairlane and vica versa.

If you want to make sure just go to the wrecks ask them if you can have a look at a fairlane and wagon tailshaft and compare them. But im pretty sure they are the same.I know of a couple of people who have replaced shafts from the fairlane to wagon and soforth.

I believe that the difference between sedan and Fairlane/wagon is 200 mm
