Now for something completely different, well backwards any way.

I know there are a lot of people out there that have put XF/XG noses (front panels) on their XD/XE but I'm want to do the reverse as I'm not keen on the XF/XG nose.

Can any one tell me if an XD nose will bolt straight onto an XG Ute?

:?:

There is more to it than that, its the whole front end, i had one once with it, XD to XH with the 351, awsome setup, but it didnt have the XD body work.
Its a big job too...

I think there would be more involved XD to XH than XD to XG as from memory the XH radiator support etc is different to the XF/XG. I think I might have to find a local wrecker that has an XD and do some measurements.

By the way I liked the XD with the XH front, nice.

thanks mate, she was a great car, untill cancer ruined it!!
Used to get some looks, big noisy 351, in a ute that looked newish.
Thinking of doing it again someday.. last quote i got was $6,000 for a panel beater to do it, with some of my old parts.
