Does anyone know where the water temp sensor is on a carby 6 XE? as i am trying to locate it, if at all possible could you tell me the colour and where abouts the wire comes from?

On an XD it is Red with a white stripe. I would think XE would be the same. The sensor is located in the top front of the head (Near the thermostat housing).

thanks for that mate, its had a v8 conversion and im just trying to find the water temp!
