I'll go out and say the EL GT has the worst rear bar on any falcon. ever.

That's a big call. Probably agree yes it is the ugliest factory rear bar but it suits the car, it's beautiful in its own way, just like the GT, "darth vader on wheels".

Does anyone know roughly how much a SVO Kit is? i've tried getting in touch with the svo boys but they dont want my business for whatever reason

I paid $500 for the fron bar (fitted and unpainted). The rest of the kit is just the EL XR...

As said before, SVO rear is Tickford EL rear.
